How about some Slovak sweets?

Dear Friends,

We would like to present our traditional oldschool recipe for delicious "Perky".
Perky are traditional sweet dish, which was served many many years ago and still is very popular. It is a recipe of our dear grandmothers, who prepared Perky from potato dough. Perky are small squares, which are filled with homemade marmalades, and fixed in the shape of small triangles. We offer you this easy recipe based on flour.

What do you need for this recipe?

300g all-purposed flour
1 egg
200g water
marmelade
150g walnuts
powder sugar
butter

Mix flour, egg and water. Make elastic dough, and roll it in order to be thin. Cut the dough into the smaller squares. With a small spoon, place a portion of marmelade in the middle of the square. Take one corner of the square and place it over the other in order to create a triangle. Fix the edges with the fork, we do not want the marmelade to leak out. Put the triangles into the boiling water, and boil for 3 minutes. After they are cooked, sprinkle Perky with walnuts and sugar, and pour the melted butter over.

Enjoy!!!
